According to an article in Vice.com, researchers at the National Center for Adaptive Neurotechnologies and the State University of New York at Albany have created the word’s first “brain-to-text” interface that makes it possible to turn a person’s thoughts into a legible phrase. But before you jump into this new technology, be advised that all the wrinkles haven’t been ironed out and the subjects need to have their skulls opened in order to implant the device’s sensors. Sign me up. Not!
