Olympic medalist and UFC champ Ronda Rousey was recently named “Best Female Athlete” and “Best Fighter” at the ESPY Awards. She wasted no time engaging in some verbal sparring with Floyd Mayweather Jr. According to Business Insider, in an interview before the show, Rousey had some words for Mayweather, who has been pleaded guilty to multiple charges of domestic violence against women over the years. Rousey wondered “how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once.” She followed that up with “I’d like to see him pretend to not know who I am now,” a reference to Mayweather having said “I don’t know who he is” regarding Rousey last year. Business Insider also speculates about a fantasy Rousey-Mayweather match-up here.
