First class passengers flying on German airline Lufthansa’s Airbus A380 planes get a lot of amenities, including luxurious lie-flat seats, gourmet meals, noise-cancelling headphones, pajamas, and personal entertainment systems. But now they get something more: better air. That’s right. The airline recently installed humidifiers in the first class section which makes the air more comfortable to breathe and helps passengers avoid jet lag and other discomforts.
Lufthansa chairman and CEO Carsten Spohr admitted, “The humidifier gives a totally different experience. Passengers arrive in a much better shape after a long-haul flight.”
Nice air — if you can get it.
