Grilling some fish this weekend? Don’t want it to taste like soggy cardboard? Try this secret ingredient: mayonnaise.

Kelli Dunn at The Kitchn recommends that you grab some mayo and “brush a coating over both sides, then season the fish before placing it on the grill.” The mayo will keep the fish tender and prevent it from sticking to the grill. Don’t worry about your fish tasting like cole slaw. The mayonnaise burns off during the cooking so it won’t impart much flavor to your fish.
